In object mode, select the object you would like to deform.

Press Shift+K

The Sketch N' Cage menu will pop up.

Press OK or ENTER.

This will create an Orthogonal Camera (Cam_Carve), A GREASE PENCIL object, and a "SC_Cage_Objects" collection.

It will also put Blender in DRAW mode with the newly created grease pencil object selected.

Draw a shape using any of the Grease Pencil tools.

Press "Shift+K". This will convert the shape you have drawn to a mesh object (Cage).

Adjust the "Extrusion" slider to encompass the area of the deformed object. Use the "Sym" button to extrude in both directions symmetrically. When satisfied click the "Bind" button.

In object mode, select the Cage object.

Press "Tab" to switch to "Edit" mode. Select some points and move them. This will deform the object.

Back in Object mode, select either the deformed object or the Grease Pencil object and press "Shift+K". Just like before, draw another shape using any of the Grease Pencil tools.

Press "Shift+K" again. This will convert the second shape you have drawn into a new Cage object. Switch to Object mode and select the new cage object.

"Tab" to enter Edit mode. In "Edit" mode, select some points and move them.

Repeat these steps as many times as you like to create new Cage objects.

If you decide to freeze the deformations, select either the deformed object or the Grease Pencil object and press "Shift+K". Press "Apply_Cage" button. Confirm it, and click "OK".

This will apply all the Cage modifiers.
